GSA Amends FIRMR to Simplify FIP MAS Contract Orders

The General Services Administration (GSA) has amended the Federal Information Resources Management Regulation (FIRMR) to remove provisions requiring the synopsis of orders over $50,000 placed against Federal Information Processing (FIP) multiple award schedule (MAS) contracts. The changes aim to streamline the procurement process for low-risk FIP acquisitions, with a new micro-purchase threshold of $2,500.
