Security Mission and Responsibilities of the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Federal Protective Service (FPS)

The General Services Administration (GSA) has taken steps to ensure a safe and secure Federal workplace following the Oklahoma City bombing, and is upgrading security at GSA Federal facilities to meet the minimum standards outlined in the Department of Justice (DOJ) report on Vulnerability Assessment of Federal Facilities.
