FERC Amends Capacity Release Regulations to Improve Efficiency

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is updating its capacity release rules to streamline the process and reduce administrative burdens, allowing shippers to release capacity without advance posting and bidding requirements for up to one month and exempting certain transactions from these requirements.
