FCC Proposes Rules to Allow IVDS Licensees to Offer Mobile Service

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed new rules to enable Interactive Video and Data Service (IVDS) licensees to provide mobile service to subscribers on a supplementary basis, in response to a petition from EON Corporation, with the goal of increasing IVDS marketability and spectrum efficiency.
