FCC Seeks Public Comments on Review of Responsible Accounting Officer Letter 25

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seeking public comments on applications to review the Responsible Accounting Officer Letter 25 (RAO Letter 25), which was issued on April 19, 1995. The letter, part of the Video Dialtone Reconsideration Order (VDT Recon Order), requires carriers to establish subsidiary accounting records for video dialtone investment, expense, and revenue. The FCC is also seeking revisions to carriers' cost allocation manuals (CAMs) to reflect the provision of video dialtone service.
