General Electric Co. Files Petition to Amend Food Additive Regulations

The FDA is announcing that General Electric Co. has submitted a proposal to modify food additive regulations to allow the safe use of polyestercarbonate resins in food contact applications, with a target composition of 45-85% ester, up to 55% of which is the terephthaloyl isomer.
