FDA Expands Specifications for Synthetic Paraffinic Waxes Used in Food Packaging

The FDA is updating its regulations to align the standards for synthetic paraffinic waxes produced by the Fischer-Tropsch process with those for other synthetic waxes used in food packaging, in response to a petition from Shell Oil Co.
