FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Heartworm Prevention and Control
The FDA has approved a new animal drug application by Ciba-Geigy Animal Health, allowing the use of milbemycin oxime tablets in puppies 4 weeks old or weighing 2 pounds or more for heartworm prevention and control of adult hookworm and roundworm infections.
