EPA Proposes Approval of Arizona's PM10 Implementation Plan for Phoenix Area

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposes to approve Arizona's State implementation plan to reduce particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to 10 micrometers (PM10) in the Phoenix area, which may be reclassified from a 'moderate' to a 'serious' nonattainment area due to impracticality of attainment by December 31, 1994.
