The State of New York; Adequacy Determination of State Municipal Solid Waste Permit Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is required to determine the adequacy of State municipal solid waste landfill permit programs under the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA). The EPA will approve adequate programs as applications are submitted, prior to the final promulgation of a State/Tribe Implementation Rule (STIR).
