Office of Community Oriented Policing Services; Troops to COPS Grant Program

The Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (``COPS'') in conjunction with the Department of Defense announces the availability of grants to encourage the hiring of separated members of the armed forces as law enforcement officers. Eligible applicants under Troops to COPS are only those agencies which have been selected to receive COPS hiring grants under COPS Phase I, COPS AHEAD and COPS FAST.
