Exemption of Joint Automated Booking Stations (JABS) System of Records Under the Privacy Act

The U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Marshals Service have amended their Privacy Act regulations to exempt a new system of records, Joint Automated Booking Stations (JABS), from certain subsections of the Privacy Act, citing the need to protect law enforcement responsibilities and the privacy of third parties.
