EPA Lodges Consent Decrees Under CERCLA for Environmental Cleanup

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has lodged consent decrees with several companies under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980, as amended. The EPA will oversee the cleanup of contaminated sites and implement the agreed-upon measures to restore the environment.
