Eastman Chemical Co. and Eastman Kodak Co. Petition FDA for Optical Brightener Approval

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending food additive regulations in response to a petition filed by Eastman Chemical Co. and Eastman Kodak Co. for the safe use of 2,2'-(1,2-ethenediyldi-4,1-phenylene)bis(benzoxazole) as an optical brightener for food-contact polymers.
