Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-dioxins and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans in Bleached Food-Contact Paper Products; Response to Referral for Action by the Environmental Protection Agency and Request for Comment

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is issuing a notice in response to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) referral for action on bleached food-contact paper products contaminated with polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD's) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDF's). FDA is considering options and seeking comments on the issue.
