U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Desert Tortoise Habitat Conservation Plan

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to prepare an environmental impact statement for a habitat conservation plan to allow incidental take of the threatened desert tortoise in Nevada, with public meetings scheduled to initiate the scoping process.
