U.S. Department of Energy Publishes Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Plutonium Solutions at Savannah River Site

The U.S. Department of Energy has released a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the F-Canyon Plutonium Solutions project at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina, which assesses the potential environmental impacts of stabilizing plutonium solutions currently stored at the site, and invites public comments and hearings.
