Environmental Impact Statement; Nevada Test Site and Other Off- Site Test Locations Within the State of Nevada

On Wednesday, August 10, 1994, the Department of Energy published a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Nevada Test Site and Other Off-Site Test Locations within the State of Nevada (59 FR 40897). Today's notice announces an extension of the comment period on the proposed scope and content of the Nevada Test Site Environmental Impact Statement.
