US Treasury Publishes Final Rule for State and Local Government Series Securities

The US Department of the Treasury has published a final rule governing the purchase and sale of State and Local Government Series securities, which are available to state and local governments and certain other entities, and aims to improve investor services with streamlined procedures and a centralized processing facility.
