IRS Accepts Petitions to Tax Certain Imported Substances

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has accepted petitions to add several substances, including monoethanolamine and toluene diisocyanate, to the list of taxable substances under Section 4672(a)(3), as per Notice 89-61. This decision does not imply any changes to the list of taxable substances at this time.
