ATF Receives Petition for Puget Sound Viticultural Area Designation

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has accepted a petition from Gerard and Jo Ann Bentryn, owners of Bainbridge Island Vineyards, to establish a viticultural area in Washington State known as Puget Sound, a move that could pave the way for the region to produce wine with a unique identity.
