US Department of Justice to Expand Disclosure of Tax Returns for Procurement Purposes

The US Department of Justice is proposing new regulations that would allow offices of US Attorneys to disclose tax returns and return information for tax administration purposes, expanding the current authority of the Tax Division and aligning with changes made by the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990.
