Treasury Publishes Proposed Rules for Large Position Requirements in Government Securities

The US Department of the Treasury is seeking public comment on proposed regulations that would require entities holding large positions in certain Treasury securities to maintain records and file reports with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, pursuant to the Government Securities Act Amendments of 1993.
