ATF Proposes Establishment of Malibu-Newton Canyon Viticultural Area in California

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has received a petition to establish a viticultural area in California, known as Malibu-Newton Canyon, submitted by Rancho Escondido, Inc. President George Rosenthal, with the goal of allowing wineries to clearly label their wines and provide consumers with more information about the origin of the grapes.
