Application of the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act to Motor Carriers

The Wage and Hour Division has issued guidance on the applicability of the exemption provided in the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act of 1965 for contracts for carriage subject to published tariff rates. The guidance is being widely disseminated through this Notice.
