U.S. Virgin Islands State Plan for Occupational Safety and Health Suspended by OSHA
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has suspended the U.S. Virgin Islands State Plan's final approval determination under Section 18(e) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, reinstating concurrent Federal enforcement authority over occupational safety issues in the private sector. OSHA will exercise this authority, as defined in the document, in addition to its existing authority over occupational health issues.
