Grant of Individual Exemptions by General Motors and Others Exempted from Employee Retirement and Tax Laws

The Department of Labor has issued exemptions to General Motors and other companies from certain restrictions under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, following public notices and comments. The exemptions were granted after the companies demonstrated compliance with relevant requirements.
