Regulations Governing the Taking and Importing of Marine Mammals, Harbor Seal

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is conducting a status review of Alaska's harbor seal subspecies to determine if any population should be designated as depleted under the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA). The review will result in a population stock assessment for the species in Alaska.
