NMFS Adopts Final Rule for Longline Fishery Observer Accommodations in Western Pacific Region

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has adopted a final rule requiring longline fishery permit holders to provide at least 72 hours notice for observer placements to ensure compliance with the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in the Western Pacific Region.
