NMFS Publishes Estimate of Northern Fur Seals to be Harvested in 1994

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has published an estimate of the number of northern fur seals expected to be harvested in 1994 to meet the subsistence needs of Aleut residents of the Pribilof Islands, Alaska. The agency also proposes to amend existing regulations to make the harvest take estimates applicable for 3 years instead of 1 year.
