Wright Medical Technology, Inc. Proposes Consent Agreement with FTC to Settle Allegations of Unfair Business Practices

Wright Medical Technology, Inc. and other parties have proposed a consent agreement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to settle allegations of unfair business practices. The agreement would require Wright Medical Technology to transfer assets related to orthopaedic hand implants to the Mayo Foundation, and obtain FTC approval before acquiring any firm that markets orthopaedic hand implants in the US.
