Montedison S.p.A., et al.; Proposed Consent Agreement With Analysis To Aid Public Comment

The proposed consent agreement would require Royal Dutch Petroleum Company and Shell Group of Companies to divest Shell Oil's polypropylene assets to Union Carbide Corporation or another Commission-approved acquirer within six months, while Montedison would relinquish revenues from future U.S. licenses by Mitsui Petrochemical Industries Ltd.
