Silicon Graphics, Inc.; Proposed Consent Agreement With Analysis To Aid Public Comment

In settlement of alleged violations of federal law prohibiting unfair acts and practices and unfair methods of competition, this consent agreement, accepted subject to final Commission approval, would require, among other things, a Mountain View, California company to take steps to ensure that companies other than the two it is acquiring can develop and sell entertainment graphics software and the workstations to run it to produce sophisticated computer-based graphics for the entertainment industry.
