Rubber Manufacturers Association, Inc., et al. Face Reopened Consent Order for Prohibited Trade Practices

A 1948 consent order, which prohibited the Rubber Manufacturers Association from engaging in resale price agreements, price-fixing, and exchanging resale price information, has been reopened. The order now sets aside the original consent order for the association, citing the Commission's Sunset Policy Statement, which presumes that competition orders over 20 years old should be terminated.
