Securities and Exchange Commission Proposes Amendments to Rule 15c2-12

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is proposing amendments to Rule 15c2-12 to deter fraud and manipulation in the municipal securities market by requiring underwriters to have access to adequate information about the securities they recommend.
