NRC Extends Comment Period for Low-Level Waste Site Ownership Proposal

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has extended the comment period for its proposal to allow private ownership of Low-Level Radioactive Waste facility sites, initially set to expire on October 3, 1994, to December 2, 1994, in response to a request from the Nuclear Information and Resource Service (NIRS).
