The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council are proposing changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation to require contractors to provide all material for performing Government contracts, with exceptions for Government-furnished material necessary for significant economy, standardization, or expedited production, or in the Government's interest. The proposed changes were not subject to Office of Management and Budget review under Executive Order No. 12866, dated September 30, 1993.
