Federal Acquisition Regulation to Guide Helium Acquisition Amidst Helium Act Requirements

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation, providing guidance on the acquisition of helium, in compliance with the Helium Act, which mandates the purchase of major helium requirements from the Secretary of the Interior, including Federal agencies and contractors for use in Federal contracts.
