Determination of the Base Quantity of Fuel Ethyl Alcohol Imports for U.S. Customs Administration
The U.S. Commission must annually determine the domestic market for fuel ethyl alcohol, used to establish the 'base quantity' of imports that can be imported with zero local feedstock requirements. This base quantity is the greater of 60 million gallons or 7% of U.S. consumption, as determined by the Commission.
