FCC Amends Must-Carry and Retransmission Consent Rules

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a new Memorandum Opinion and Order to clarify the obligations of cable operators and broadcasters, following petitions for reconsideration of the must-carry and retransmission consent provisions of the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992.
