EPA Promulgates Final Amendments to Secondary Treatment Requirements for Marine Waters

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is promulgating final amendments to the regulations for secondary treatment requirements for discharges into marine waters by publicly owned treatment works (POTWs). The amendments respond to the 1987 Water Quality Act and reflect program experience.
