EPA Proposes Administrative Penalty for Clean Water Act Violations and Requests Public Comment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is providing notice of a proposed administrative penalty for alleged Clean Water Act violations and is seeking public comment on the proposed penalty. The proposed penalty, which could reach up to $125,000, is related to a Class II proceeding initiated by the Water Management Division, U.S. EPA, Region 9, in San Francisco, CA.
