Approval and Promulgation of State Implementation Plans; Oregon

EPA approves the State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Oregon. This revision establishes and requires the implementation of a basic motor vehicle inspection and maintenance (I/M) program in the Portland Metropolitan Service district and the Medford-Ashland Air Quality Maintenance Area. The intended effect of this action is approval of a basic motor vehicle I/M program. This action is being taken under section 110 of the Clean Air Act. DATES: This final rule will be effective on November 8, 1994, unless adverse or critical comments are received by October 11, 1994. If the effective date is delayed, timely notice will be published in the Federal Register.
