EPA Region II Office Announces Intent to Delete Radium Chemical Company Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region II Office is seeking public comment on its plan to remove the Radium Chemical Company site from the National Priorities List (NPL), a list of contaminated sites identified under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). The decision follows a review by EPA and the State of New York, which found that no further remedial action is necessary to protect public health and the environment.
