US EPA Establishes Pesticide Tolerances for Fungicide Aluminum Tris(O-Ethylphosphonate) on Strawberries and Leafy Vegetables
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has set new tolerances for residues of the fungicide fosetyl-Al, also known as aluminum tris(O-ethylphosphonate), on strawberries and certain leafy vegetables, following a petition from Rhone-Poulenc Ag Co. The new tolerances allow for up to 75 parts per million (ppm) on strawberries and up to 100 ppm on non-brassica leafy vegetables, while brassica leafy vegetables are limited to 60 ppm.
