EPA Approves Kentucky's Ozone Redesignation Plans

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Kentucky's redesignation of four areas to meet ozone (O3) standards, including Owensboro and Edmonson County, and approved a 1990 base year inventory for the Owensboro and Edmonson County areas. The EPA will review the redesignation of Lexington and Paducah areas in a future document.
