USEPA Approves Wisconsin's Sulfur Dioxide Attainment and Maintenance Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the State of Wisconsin's revised sulfur dioxide (SO2) plan for the Rhinelander, Wisconsin area, which aims to reduce SO2 emissions from certain sources in the region, in accordance with the Clean Air Act.
