EPA Lodges Consent Decree for CERCLA Cleanup at Former Occidental Petroleum Site

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has agreed to a settlement with a group of parties to clean up contamination at a former Occidental Petroleum site in California, in accordance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA or Superfund).
