Secondary Direct Food Additives Permitted in Food for Human Consumption; Cellulose Triacetate

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending its regulations to permit the safe use of cellulose triacetate as an immobilizing agent for lactase in reducing milk lactose content in response to a petition filed by Vitenco, Inc.
