HCFA Proposes Revisions to Medicare Claims Records Under Privacy Act of 1974

The US Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) is proposing to revise the system notices for the 'Carrier Medicare Claims Records' and 'Intermediary Medicare Claims Records' systems under the Privacy Act of 1974 to allow for the release of beneficiary data to servicing Medicare banks and/or provider banks.
